Help.

I upgraded to a Samsung S8 in November- no issues. In January I started having issues sending and receiving picture messages on WhatsApp and Facebook messenger whilst using my data allowance. As soon a I connect to Wi-Fi they send. Other issues have arisen with connecting to everyday sites like Google. The message comes up saying cannot connect to internet and yet when I do a speed test the internets fine..........apparently.

I've tried:

1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the apps.

2. Hard factory reset.

3. Changing my SIM card.

4. Trying my wife's SIM in my phone (which appeared to work)

5. Ensuring the settings are correct

6. Attending at the store

7. Contacting the "tech" team on thr phone.

8. Sending my phone away to "get fixed"

The first picture I tried after I got my phone back from being fixed sent ok. However 24 hours later I'm right back at square 1.

My wife has the same phone with Vodafone and gas no issues.

I refuse to pay Vodafone to send pictures via MMS.

Thoughts please folks on how to fix this issue.

I have a distant memory of something not completely dissimilar.   Can you go into your Chrome settings and make sure that the data saver option isn't turned on?   I'm not sure of exactly where it is, and you may have to do some digging.

If that's not it, try sending a picture as an email attachment.  That should rule in or out a connection issue.
