That's a new phone brand on me!
As it isn't a phone that Vodafone supplies you won't get any support from the network. All you can try are the APN settings above or wait for someone else form the community to give you some help. Or try a more specialist forum like XDA.

here are my settings, they are slightly different...
Name: Contract WAP
APN: wap.vodafone.co.uk
Proxy: Not set
Port: Not set
Username: wap
Password: wap
Server: Not set
MMSC: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
MMS proxy: 212.183.137.12
MMS Port: 8799
MMS protocol: wap 2.0
MCC: 234
MNC: 15
Authentication type: not set
APN type: *
APN protocol: IPv4 (unchangeable)
Enable/disable APN: APN enabled

Note the .12 on the end of MMS proxy
also APN type is a *
and the addition of MMS protocol: wap 2.0
hope that helps?

Most of the websites I've found relating to this device are in Spanish, which immediately suggests this isn't a UK spec phone. According to GSMChoice, the frequencies it operates on are 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 mhz and I think that's your problem. Vodafone UK uses 800 & 2600 for 4G, though you should be able to get 2/3G on 900 & 1800 and it may be worth experimenting with the settings under Mobile Data to restrict it.

Hi all,
The BQ Aquaris series sevices support 2G on the following frequencies:
In addition they support HSPA+ on the following:
I may be reading incorrectly however I would hazard a guess that the devices maybe don't support the older, more widespread HSDPA protocol. I would guess that unless you are in a HSPA+ (or H+) area you maybe won't get a connection. Unfortunately there isn't any way to tell what type of 3G coverage vodafone provide in any particular area though if you share your postcode here one of the team may be able to look it up.

And yes, BQ is a Spanish brand...
My girlfriend have a BQ E4.5 and she can access her data without any problem.

If you're using the same settings as the 4.5, then I'd say that might well be the case.
