Why did it take vodafone 2 weeks to connect my internet? I was promised connection on March 13th. My land line was swapped but they failed to connect the internet. I kept getting messages that the delays team had tried contacting me and they left a number to call. This number was simply to a call centre. Apparently it is not possible to contact the delays team, but they can contact you in the vain hope that you might not be working! Surely this is breach of contract? I bought voadfones service to connect me to the internet. They did not. What is a service provider for? Well I believe it is to provide a service! So don't believe vodafone. As far as I'm concerned they are liars! Their customer services are worst than useless. No explanation given (apart from blaming openreach) and no time scale was given for rectification of the problem. For 2 weeks I have been unable to my job properly (writing reports and doing my monthly payclaim) and my children have been unable to the homework set by their school because it needed the internet. They have not been able to contact their friends or play their on line games. I will be contacting trading standards and letting everybody I know NOT to use vodafone.

I'm really sorry to hear about the awful experience you've had waiting for you broadband to be connected @xjsman. I know how frustrating it is not having an internet connection, when you're trying to go about your daily life.
