Hi. I recieved text messages regarding the new price increases. On 3 of my lines, i got the option to ens my agreement free of charge. It states in order to do this, i would need to send a letter within 30 days of receiving the text message.
I have sent my letter over a week ago now and i have not heard anything back. When should i hear back?

Hi there

Did you sent it via recorded delivery?  If so, was it delivered and signed for?

If it has been delivered, I'd recommend that you follow up with customer services to make sure that they have logged it against your file.

Hi @Sianbaron

This is a similar thread http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Pay-monthly-products-services/Vodafone-RPI-Increase/m-p/2500156/highl...

Appears customer service advise to await the official reply from the letter.

It maybe beneficial to get another sent off as Recorded if customer service cannot confirm they've received your letter.

I'd always strongly recommend that you send things like this recorded delivery as that way you have proof that you did send the letter.  At the moment, there is no evidence that you did.

I'd imagine that the 191 team will probably advise you to send a letter, so you could find yourself being put back to step one of the process.

I'm sorry to hear you wish to leave Vodafone.

Please be aware it may take 30 days to hear back from your letter. Please be patient and our team will contact you regarding your letter as soon as possible.

I sent my letter in on 6 June 2016 - I've had a few calls and live chat with Vodafone at my expense - but it seems to me that unless you send letters recorded or registered to Newbury head office to cancel the contract (vf) do not recognise it ? not much post goes missing these days and to me this seems a Kop out on vf point of view ! you've breached my contract we had in good faith and now I wish to cancel - my last answer was send another letter ? any help here appreciated

The above letter was in connection with rpi increase - if I cancel dd I'm sure I'll get a response ?

You most definitely will get a response - it's called a default and that is what happens when you fail to pay your bill. I am pretty sure you don't want that.

If you did not send the cancellation letter by recorded delivery, you don't have any proof that it was even sent let alone delivered. You would need to resend the letter, this time by recorded delivery. Hopefully they will accept it as it is now a bit late, and I fear you may have waited too long before following up.
