Cracked iphone 6

Hi, my iphone 6 screen cracked in my pocket when I was sitting in the car. Wasn't knocked or bumped but maybe just pressure from legs bending and jeans putting a strain on my phone.
Was wondering if the screen could have been defective and would I then be entitled to a repair or replacement from vodafone under the sale of goods act???

Hi there

The warranty on your handset doesn't cover physical damage which is what a cracked screen is, so I'm afraid that it is highly unlikely that Vodafone will repair it under warranty. You'll have to pay for it yourself.

You can always try making an appointment with a Genius in the nearest Apple Store and see if they will do anything for you.

Hi

You definitely could book a Genius Bar appointment via https://www.apple.com/uk/retail/geniusbar/ and it would be down to the
 employees opinion. Which may be down to accidental damage. This would be only covered if you have  + care if bought from apple.

Do you have any home contents cover and or check your bank account as some give mobile Cover also.

T&C and excess fees will apply.

Sorry for your case. Do you have Vodafone insurance? If not they will charge you much for the repair. I recommend you choose a reliable iPhone 6 screen replacement supplier like hcqs.cc. That will save you much money. If you don't know how to replace the cracked screen you can search on YouTube. There are many detailed step-by-step guides there.

That is not good advice.

If any work is carried out on an iPhone by anyone other than an Apple authorised repairer and there are any other problems in the future with the phone Apple will refuse to help you.
