have had my phone on this network since April 2015 and no issues until today - I am told tehre are no issues locally but Carphone Warehouse in Gainsborough say differently - just need an answer plesae
1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service?
at home address and poor in locality
2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? If you don't want this showing on the eForum, add it to your profile here.
3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone?
yes and I had my SIM changed today by Vodafone assistant in Retford
4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs?
NO SERVICE
5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all?
all
6) When did you first notice this issue?
around 10 am 30/8
7) Is the issue permanent or intermittent? If intermittent, are there certain times of the day when it occurs?
permanent

Hi @Debh59
Please check if you've not already done so what the Vodafone Network Mast Status Checker is reporting for your area.
Your Local masts may show as OK so Please also use the Zoom out feature in the map to check surrounding masts for issues.

Have you zoomed out too. It allows you to zoom out twice ?
Also see what the indication of signal you should get under the Coverage Checker part of the link. It's not guaranteed signal however. Check the 2G, 3G and 4G tabs.
The Tech Team can check from your postcode what mast sites are near you but wouldn't be able to 100% say which masts your phones latching to (I think)

yes have zoomed out - only get 2G in my area

Ok.
One other possible help tip is to navigate in your phones settings and turn off 4G/3G to force the phone onto 2G.
I note you've had your sim swapped today so please take into consideration that it can take up to 24 hours to fully settle sometimes.
The original sim would lose service first which indicates the sim swap has begun.

Yes the assistant in the store said SIM was all active and ready to go
have forced phone to 2G and no different
BUT neighbour has just told me that she has been told they are dropping signal whilst they are working on improving it so hoping it may improve?!

Hi,
Maintenance work should also be highlighted on the Network Checker.
I hope this clears up ASAP for you.

I can see the local 2G site you connect with may be experiencing issues
So we can gather specific examples, please see the private message I've sent for how to get in touch.
