Dongle Help! - Can you use two at once?

My father has bought myself and my sister broadband dongles. They are both 3G but my sister has given me hers and now I have both. Is it possible to use them at the same time? Not both plugged in at once of course, what I mean is it possible to use one for say half the month and the second for the second half without having to reinstall them each time?

I have the K3765 and the K3520 and am using a laptop. they are both contract and since the operator refuses to even answer my questions because am not the account holder I cant get help via the phone.

I cannot get the K3765 to connect and am guessing I would have to reinstall the software to do this but is there a way to not have to do that every single time? PLus when I was using the K3520 it was impossible to keep track of my usage as I had to reinstall it every time anyway.

So could someone with information help me out?

Hi kelsbells64,

Because the hardware for the modems is different, they would need to be seperately uninstalled and re-installed each time you wanted to switch between them, so this is not ideal as you say.

I'm guessing the only reason you want to do this is to share the usage from both contracts, is that correct? If so, then what I would recommend doing, is simply swapping your SIM cards, rather than the modem itself. So long as both SIM cards are on Contract Mobile Broadband, they will work in either modem. All you need to do is pick your favourite modem (I'm guessing this will be the K3520 since that's already installed and working), and when you're ready to switch half-way through the month, simply remove your SIM card and replace it with the one from the other modem.

I trust this solution works for you? Let me know if you have further questions :)
