Hi I have always been able to upgrade early via your web relations team Nd find then really helpful. However was told it wasn't possible to do this on twitter anymore. I have rang 191 to ask about upgrading before my upgrade date but have found them to be unhelpful. I have 2 handsets with you and would really like to upgrade then both. I have been loyal to vf for many years and through many issues but the signals on current handsets are becoming unbareable. If you would be able to help me change my handsets without the o ee the top price I was quoted by 191 I would be grateful and willing to sign up for another contract with vf effectively meaning you'd get another 30 months out of me. Thank you

Hi
In general terms the nearer a person is to their contact end date the better typically the deal when speaking to retentions via 191. Choose thinking of leaving.
If a person is at their upgrade date then the deals may not be as sweet.
Independents such as Cpw can sometimes offer good deals but if a person upgrades via them then they essentially become their customer with Vodafone supplying the connection.
Also some discounts such as employers vea isn't available.
Alternatives such as going sim only and buying the phone outright can offer cheaper alternatives long term.
The team here wouldn't be able to upgrade you.

Hi @leighxx
With the forum not being a sales channel, means you are going to need to contact Vodafone by calling upgrades or by going into a vodafone Store.
Generally, you will be able to see the upgrade date when you are able to upgrade to a new phone at a subsidised cost, on the My Vodafone Applcation or on your online account.
If you upgrade before the due date, Vodafone may ask you to pay off the existing remaining time left of the contracts leaving you free to negotiate a new miniumum term. Alternativelty, depending on how long remains, the time left will be added onto the new contracts at the new price.
Although you have already been down the route, you will need to persevere through the sales channels. They will be in a good position to advise of the options available to change your phones.
The other alternatives are to purchase the new phones at your own cost and change to SIM only at the end of contract and save money that way.
