Hi Does anyone know if the Note 4 is getting the lollipop update anytime soon?  really frustrating seeing other samsung phones on vodafone in the uk upgraded and I still have to wait with no idea of if I am getting the update.

Thanks

It still doesn't have the features needed to work with OneNet Express and the OneNet support person just said there was another update coming.

Samsung says its 5.02 and it includes silent mode which has also been removed.

Its bizarre - as if their product design is being stomped by their competitors.

I've just checked. I can put the phone in Mute mode but I can't see Silent as a ringtone.

where abouts in the uk are you ive tried both keis and ota and have nothing but 4.4

I've downloaded it from my work...mitcham in surrey via kies 3

I don't seem to be getting the update at all either the OTA or from kies. Is there something I need to do to make kies find the update or is it just a very slow rollout process?

I haven't received the update on my note 4 yet and I'm in Surrey? Very confused at the moment as to when I should expect the Update. Taking far too long. Note 4 should have been one of the first phones to get it.. if not the first.

I used to have problems trying to get Kies to detect the new version if I connected via Virgin Media but as soon as I re-routed through a BT gateway, it worked instantly. This time, it came down over Virgin Media straight away.

You could always pop into a Samsung drop-in support store for it. Check/Call first though; they were a bit surprised when I got the Vodafone variant so quickly.

Great. Thank you.. I'll enquire about it tomorrow

I'll say it again; it isn't worth the chase.

My book on Samsung's "Style over Substance" in this thing gets longer by the day, e.g. previously, when a friend called, I used to get a picture up that occupied a fair chunk of screen. Now I get this stupid little icon about the size of a finger nail, surrounded by a complete waste of space. And in call logs, its an even more stupid little portrait that is smaller than my little finger nail.

Less is more only if you are, or should be, an iPhone user.
