Hi all
First post here! trying to find out more about my Note 7 Pre-order as ive not heard anything since the initial order.
Has anyone had confirmation they will be getting it on the 30/8?
Tried chat and 191 both saying different things as is in store. Also the tracking is not working yet because it is a pre-order.
I know there are some supply issues but I will need to amend delivery address if im not getting it on the tuesday and obviously dont have much time to change anything.
any help would be appricated.

I knew it, just got my bill and i've been charged £473 for a phone that may burn the house down. This is after being assured that the device would be collected on Monday and this new contract absolutely would be cancelled!
Abysmal.

Well after getting through (to India) and being diverted (to Ireland) and then re-routed (to God knows where) they say that a returns bag will be posted out so i can return the Note - third time lucky?
I mentioned about being charged for the phone and the new contract despite being assured that wouldn't happen and they have cancelled my direct debit which they tell me may affect my credit rating - they assure me they will fix that (yeah right).
Then i was being persuaded to take out a great new contract .... How about Hell no!
I've bought an iPhone directly from Apple and after almost 20 years with Vodafone it's time to start looking elsewhere. Any new people thinking of buying from Vodafone - be VERY careful. Customer service is the absolute worst.

I too had a £379 debit taken from my account that I was assured had been deferred until October, after a call they have now cancelled my DD and say I can pay it over the next 6 months, we shall see!

. Why does samsung not just come out and say this will be the date for release?
Probably because they do not know.
They have to work out how to get the phones from Korea to the customer. Airlines worldwide have been banned from carrying the phone as cargo and that ban will last until the airlines are satisfied that there in no further problem.
So getting the phones shipped is just another headache for Samsung. Looks like being on a slow boat from Korea.

I wonder if Samsung now regrets the decision to permanently fit the batteries instead of having removable batteries?

I don't believe this is happening. I contacted VF to tell them that my service went dead. They said they would reactivate my simcard. Which they have done. With the wrong number!?
So i now have my parters phone number and lord knows what number they have!
Un - believable!

Just get them to ring the number that you have and you will soon find out.

The other phone was completely dead. After an hour with CS i managed to get them to just attach the number to a new sim that i'd got. So now i'm just waiting for the Note to go back and then will try and fix the contract mess. Sheesh.
I was reading last night on one of the tech blogs that some analysts says Samsung might bring the Galaxy s8 release forward.

No idea how true this is but I heard from a friend in the States that Samsung started to exchange thier Note 7's a week Wednesday gone, just shows who is favoured more than us here in Europe.
Saying thta I do think this has caused the mad rush for the new iPhone 7, seriously Apple followers are like Lemmings, I think they must have been born with an apple up their backsides
