How To Top-up

salopspring
Not applicable
Hi
I have a USB Modem K3565 but have no idea how much data I have left and I'm unable to top-up.

Once registered for online services, the account page has no option for USB Modem only (I don't have a vodafone mobile number)

I can't get a mobile number for the USB Modem (even if it's possible) as I can't send SMS messages via the modem.

I'm using an Apple Mac using Snow Leopard.

Ideas anyone? Help!

Thanks

Not sure if this will work but it is worth a try. Take the sim out of the dongle and put it in your mobile phone and dial *#100#

That should bring the number up on the screen.

If that does not work call 07836191191 (customer services). If you give them the number which is written on the SIM card they will be able to tell you what the mobile number is that is assigned to that SIM.

Hi salopspring,

Welcome to the eForum :) Thanks to P1E_EATER for the advice that's spot on. Your SIM card will definitely have a mobile number attached to it so if you can pop it into another phone and dial *#100# the number will come up.

Let me know if you have any problems with this and I'll be more than happy to get an email out to you so we can get you up and running. The good news is once you have your mobile number you can easily top up online and frequently check your data usage through the Vodafone My Account.

Keep me posted.

Thanks,

Adam
