Loss of effective range

Hi recently (2 weeks plus) my suresignal v2 seems to have lost its range. Both router & suresignal have not been moved. To get a full signal  have to be within 5ft. I can stand 20ft from box & get no service on my phone. Other people with registered phones on my suresignal are the same.

I have tried resetting router & suresignal to no avail.

Last week following online chat & had my setttings reset also to no effect.

Any ideas as at the moment our local transmitter has been down for nearly 1 month despite Vodafone assurances that they are doing everything to rectify transmitter fault!

Hello,

I appreciate you have tried some troubleshooting already but do Please take a look through these Sure Signal Trouble Shooting threads :

as these may help to resolve issues. They have links to the key things you can do to try and self resolve the issue you are experiencing.

It may also be worth trying a different power supply with the SureSignal (Version 1 & 2 ), as there have been some reports of replacement power supplies solving some issues. They are available on eBay for around £10.

To note the Sure Signal Device comes with a 24 month warranty.

Hi there

Have you tried a different power supply?

PWIAC

Have tried a different power supply, still only getting full signal when next to S/S box.

I asked because as I pointed towards in my earlier reply Vodafone apply a 24 Month Warranty.

I hope you reach some form of resolution

One of the options maybe to replace the unit for a new one.
