Wondering if anyone can help.
Since yesterday afternoon for some reason on my Galaxy S4 my mobile data icon is not dissappearing once I have connected to a wifi. I havent downloaded any apps or updates over the last few days, so I havent got a clue why this has just started to happen. I have tried looking on the internet and only american websites are stating this to happen on their S4's. Please can anyone help me as I am reluctant to have to do another factory reset.
Many Thanks

Thank you for your advice, but I have just spoken to a friend who has got the same phone and on vodafone and they are saying theirs is doing the same and from yesterday afternoon. Guess its must another bad update from either Vodafone or Samsung like the recent battery drain problem that I suffered with too. Will be glad when my contract is over with them and I can get a different phone from another mobile company. Not had problems like this before and Ive been with vodafone for several years. Lets hope it doesnt take as long for them to figure out as the last mishap.
Thank you for your suggestions on this

Thank you for replying about the mobile data.
I have got another problem, since the last update which was to correct the battery drain caused by the rich communications I have been having further problems and I'm not the only one. The text messages are being very temperamental, the are shown as sent on the phone but they will only reach the recipient when they want too and other times when receiving a text the same text can come through several times including the early hours of the morning when the text was sent through the day. What is causing this? Is it another fault in the update as the texts messages worked perfectly fine before the last update.
Thanks

It's generally advisable to do a factory reset after updating, especially on Samsung devices, so I'd follow 63johnw's suggestion. It clear out any bits of old code that are hanging round and confusing the system.
