I have a Data Only Sim in a HUAWEI router for our internet connection.
When trying to set up MyVodafone so I can get see bills and setup info - It only offers to send me a text to confirm the set up. Of course I cannot receive a text. I don't have another device for this sim that can receive a text.
The connection is working fine.
I was sent 4 emails:
1. Thanks for registering with Vodafone
2.Your My Vodafone username change
3.Forgotten username or password
4.Your My Vodafone username change
No. 3 containned a password, but of course by the time I had a box to enter it, vodafone had texted me a new code which only lasts a few minutes or so.
I can't be the first to use a sim in a router, so how do i register?

The security code should appear briefly as a pop up or will be on the computer dashboard. There is further information below.
How do I register for My Vodafone?
If you are having a problem setting up the account, live chat should be able to go through the procedure with you and make sure everything is working correctly.

There is no dash. The sim is in the router. 120 minutes of online chat has solved this issue.
I dispair again with my experience with vodafone
