Smart Platinum 7 Waves Maxxaudio not working recent update.

Hi my Smart Platinum 7 got an update recently and the Waves Maxxaudio isnt working anymore, none of the presets do anything, none of the dials show anything and if you change them they all stay at 0 - results in a very quiet phone - as waves maxxaudio actually does/did make the phone louder.

Ive factory reset throught the settings menu 3 times now with no effect.

Any ideas?

Can you recall what the firmware update on the phone was ?

Performing the Factory Reset is a good troubleshooting tip just to get rid of any old / redundant files if a phone is glitching after an update. 

Is there any update pending perhaps in the PlayStore for the app itself  ?

Sometimes developers of the App have to catch up and update their apps so they continue to work after updates on the phone. You should be able to email the developer to report these bugs your experiencing. 

Other then that is there an alternative app you could use in the interim ?

Hi,

It was 6.0.1-170FCN1, and i do believe its part of the firmware and not an app, as its embedded in the srttings, sound enhancement - this isn't the only issue I'm noticing since the update, the device is dropping calls midway, refusing to wake up at times I actually like this phone
