Does anyone know how I set my smart ultra 6 to resend failed texts it says it will resend but doesn't

Ive taken a look in the Full User Manual but cannot see the setting. 

Are you able to manually resend the text message ok.

If you tap on the text message itself (or it might be long press?) you should get an option to resend the message.
