Software Upgrade question

Sorry if this is an old subject, but for some time now my phone has been telling me there is a software update. It is 121.19MB in size and claims to improve performance. Anyone know what update this is?

After the disastrous S3 update a while back I'm not sure about updates anymore.

The update should improve security features, as well as include various new functions and bug fixes.

Hi @djs1970,

The phone will only advise of an update if the most up to date software, isn't installed on your phone.

So whilst it may be new to your phone, it would depend on when you last updated your phone, as to how "new" the update is.
