Spotify

Hi,

We had the entertainment pack added to our account yesterday in order to add Spotify to my daughters phone for tomorrow.

We recieved the text and selected Spotify, gave our spotify account details  but then recieved a server error.

We called technical support who said they would cancel our subscription and send a new text out.

Never recieved it so called again today and was told to text entertainment to 97613. We did this and recieved a new link but had the same problem.

We have:

Tried an alternative Spotify account

Turned off Wifi and connected using mobile data

Rebooted phone.

I would appreciate any help to get this sorted.

I had the very same problem with my daughter's Spotify.

In total, it took me 4 phone calls and 3 live chat with Vodafone.

They kept sending me the wrong activation text, the one they should send you if Spotify is free and is included in your package MUST be the free activation text.  And each time I got through to a different vodafone person, they cancelled Spotify and had to reactivate it, which I can only imagine added confusion to their system.

I finally got a Vodafone support person who knew what they were doing and I got the correct text, took about a week in total to get this sorted.

Ask to be put through the the Vodafone Spotify team.

I dread when it comes to renewing my annual contract, because I bet I'll go through this all again.

Good luck.

Just go to offers.vodafone.com/gb and select the Entertainment you want.

If you access this on the phone with Network data on, then you will not need to verify your phone no.

If you use any other method to accees the above link, then you will need to verify your Phone Number. You will receive a text to verify it and then you can slect your option,

When you go back to the link I provided, does it still give you option to Sign up for Free?

No, it does not give the option to sign up free. It just gives an option to input your your phone number and recieve a new text message.

Then the same thing happens all over again.

@john_l - This is great to hear! Thanks for letting us know and I hope your daughter is enjoying it.  🎧 ☺️

Thanks, I will follow that advice if not sorted soon.

Just a shame I paid for this and my daughter will not get what she wanted in the morning.
