Sure Signal 3, Sky Fibre - Continual Issues

mpev73
4: Newbie

I have a Sure Signal 3 device issued from work due to living in a village with a remote signal and every single day I have issues with the device dropping connection.

I logged on yesterday to my account to discover the device hasn't registered in my account (even though I did this when I received this), so I had to re-register it yesterday. I had no connection throughout yesterday and have had to de- and re-register the device again today.

I continually get drop outs from signals and even during calls. Can you please confirm if the device is faulty or if there are other issues - I am having to reset this on a daily basis and on some occasions multiple times throughout the day.

Any guidance, as this is really frustrating. My partner has a Three Mobile Home Signal Device which seems to be always working!

Draytek finally working (replaced Sky Hub & BT OpenReach Modem) after a factory reset.

Plugged Vodafone SS v3 into this and it worked for roughly 10minutes and now Nothing - again..

So I can only think that there is an issue with the VSS device unless Voda tell me otherwise..

Hi mpev73

If you feel the Sure Signal is faulty we can look at repairing this for you. See ways to arrange this here.

Thanks

Sukhi

I am currently a Vodafone Corporate Customer and have sent a request to our IT Helpdesk (who provided me the VSS). Am I able to still return this via the standard channels or do I have to go through work?

Are you able to confirm when the last time my VSS connected to the servers was?

I have tried to reset the VSS3 several times by holding the reset button until all lights reappear, but nothing happens - even after a minute..

Hi mpev73,

The Sure Signal last connected this morning.

If you did want to return it, you’d need to go through your corporate team as they’ve provided it to you.

James

Thanks James,

I can see that the Sure Signal is connected as I now have several lights - it took a long time to finally resysnc.

Although now my mobile doesn?t seem to want to connect to it after several resets, but I will keep trying.

I have contacted my corporate team to discuss this as well..

Many thanks
Marcus
