My problem seems very similar to others I've read. The SS3 has been working really well since purchase in December, but stopped in the last few days. I've tried resetting the hub and re-installing the port forwarding plus port clamping, to no avail. I don't understand how, or where, to allow IP addresses on my hub manager. Sometimes when I re-start both, the white internet light will pulse for a while, but ultimately it will always revert to flashing red with orange in use.
One message indicated that there are ongoing issues with BT infinity, so am I flogging a dead horse at present? All help gratefully received.
Speeds are 18 and 4
Ping 47 jitter 4
IP 217.44.49.29
SS3 serial 40133653960
I did a trace route, but could not right click copy for some reason.

I really appreciate your input, but since I changed the ethernet cable it's started working. A great surprise as it had not been touched in any way, or is it coincidence? The only other thing I did was try port clamping again, but it hadn't worked previously.

Hi PeterS5
Is it possible to highlight the traceroute and copy using Ctrl+C? It would be really helpful to see where it fails.
I'm unable to see the software you're currently running so it may not be connected.
Is it possible to try a different ethernet cable, or better still on a different coinnection such as a friend or family members?

If you are a BT customer check to see if your broad band is using PPPoE or PPPoA, my BT Infinity service uses PPPoE and SureSignal requires PPPoA. Vodafone say that SureSignal may work for a period of time but there aremt any promisses. I had the same issue suresignal worked fine for 3 months then died!!
Vodafone support is rubbish, hours wasted on the phone!!

Thanks. I've looked on my hub manager but can't find evidence of the PPPoE or PPPoA, Where might I find it, please.

Thanks for the reply. I've managed to paste the trace route below. Another member has suggested that BT Infinity is on PPPoE and the SS3 is PPPoA.
Tried an alternative cable but still the same

My mistake. I don't know if it's coincidence but it has started working again since I changed the cable. Thanks for the tip. Great.
