Registered this on the 5/07/2017 at 14.51.58 It has not shown any signs of being able to connect to Vodafone as yet. Once turned on the first two lights flash together for roughly ten minutes and then only the red power light remains lit. No flashing just a static red light. I have reset the unit on several occassions and opened up the relvant ports on the router as instructed by Vodafone Tech Support. I have also moved the SS box to the DMZ on the router to ensure it has complete unfiltered access.

@brynmor530 - We can see that the Vodafone Sure Signal has never made a connection with the Vodafone network.
We recommend that the device is reset.
See below how to do this –
Once this has been done, if it still not changed, let us know the light sequence you can see.

@Laura,
Thank you for your reply but as I said above, I have reset the box several times over the past two days. I have just reset the unit again as you requested with no change to the light sequence.
The light sequence is once again as previously stated. The first two white symbols flash together for roughly ten minutes after the unit has been reset. They then go blank and I'm left with only the red power light illuminated, which is static, not blinking.
Could you please confirm my external IP address is on Vodafone's 'White List' as I know it was an Iranian IP address several years ago before being reallocated to the UK.
Thank you,
Brynmor

Is there anybody there?
I don't think that at least one reply per every 24 hours is to much to ask.
Clearly my very low expectations of Vodafone need lowering even further.

@brynmor530 - Yes, the IP address that you’ve given is on the whitelist.
Try to connect the Vodafone Sure Signal in another location, preferably using a different router and internet service provider.
Let us know if this makes a difference.
If this still isn’t working still, please let us know the following information:

@Laura
I have taken the Sure Signal box to my ISP's head office for their tech support team to try out. It is currently connected to their network and I am awaiting news from them. As of yesterday there was no change in its behaviour.
Can you see any connection attempts from it at your end?
Next week I will try it on a Talk Talk connection.

Hi @brynmor530
I've taken a look, the Sure Signal has still not made a connection with our servers.
Keep us updated with how to get on.
Thanks,
Sukhi

@ Sukhi
Thank you for your reply. I have just collected the Sure Signal from my ISP's head office and they say the Sure Signal box isn't able to establish a connection on either of their main interconnects from their data centre.
The following trace route is from their second interconnect which does finish at an IP address owned by Dusseldorf Vodafone Group Services.
That suggests the problem is the sure signal box. However I will connect the SSB to a Talk Talk connection tomorrow evening to confirm it can't connect outside of my ISP's networks altogether.

I believe you will now be able to see a connection from my Sure Signal box via a Talk Talk broadband connection.
Could you confirm the box has made a connection to your servers for me please?
23-07-2015 01:56 PM
@brynmor530 - This connected last night at 6.59pm, which means the fault isn't with the Sure Signal.
Did everything work OK and were you able to use your phone?
