Replaced a Sure Signal 3 on Saturday after original one blew up! Replacement serial code registred on My Vodafone. Problem is I get a red flashing light while Service and User LED's are constant orange. Have tried rebooting several times without success. Broadband provided by BT with Hub5 router. What do I do?

The light sequence you describe above shows the Sure Signal failed to authenticate onto the Vodafone network.
This would normally be resolved by restarting the Sure Signal, but please also check your router has the right ports open and the Smart Setup is disabled.

Mark in the Sure Signal team has resolved my problem which was eventually down to a registration issue. Very impressed with Mark's determination to solve the problem. Many thanks

Did you report your original unit exploding to the BBC's Watchdog program and Trading Standards as many more of these unit are also blowing up and needs thorough investigation?
If not, please can you kindly do so using the information below..
