Hi
My sure signal has stopped working, I have forward all the relevant ports but to no avail. The light sequence appears to change frequently so I have tried the suggested steps for an number of sequences and this is has not helped. Can you advise further?
Thanks
Tom

Tuesday is just about over and my Sure Signal V1 is still not behaving itself. It is just cycling through various light combinations. I therefore still have no decent signal at home.
Please advise.

Have redone the tests, and changed the trace route to 212.183.133.182 instead of 212.183.133.177, unsure if this makes a difference and have given my Sure Signal a static IP.
Hope you can help, thanks.

Hi everyone,
@T_Slinger – Your Sure Signal is on the latest firmware.
It’s trying to set up but failing. We’ve tried to ping it and it’s not working.
Please test it at a different location and if it’s still not working let us know the light sequence.
@AndroidFamily – As your Sure Signal is failing at the second hop on your traceroute, please test a different Ethernet cable and check your ports are opened as follows:
IP addresses to be allowed on the router & firewall
I can see it's registered successfully, so once the above steps have been followed please perform a reset:
Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.
Thanks,
Gemma

Well I have done all I have been asked at least five times over the last 2 weeks. I have changed to a new ethernet cable, opened ports, both ways, and allowed ip addresses. The Sure Signal 1 still does not work. The failing 2nd hop has occurred a lot for other users on this forum. I use sky and there is no issue on their side and they have had a lot of contact over Sure Signal connection problems.
I am really frustrated now. Please help.

Hi, it cycles through a few light sequences.
Self resets
2 minutes later 1 has solid light, 2 slow flashes
2 minutes later 1 has solid light, 2 slow flashes and 4 slow flashes
1 minute later 1 has solid light, 2 has solid light and 4 slow flashes
Within 2 minutes it self resets.
It will also do this following a hard reset.
Thanks.

I've done that and still no joy. The light sequence is, generally:
- 1st lit up alone
- 1st and 2nd lit up
- 1st and 2nd lit up, fourth flashes
- 1st lit up alone.
I have just changed my router so another trace is below in case this assists:

Hi @AndroidFamily and @T_Slinger
It looks like your Sure Signal’s are faulty.
You’ll need to send this away for repair, or if out of warranty, you’ll need to buy a new one.
To find out what you need to do in order to get this sorted take a look at our Vodafone Repairs Thread. This can be found here.
Thanks,
Wayne
