My SureSignal 3 does not initially respond to my phone. It also often does not connect to allow incoming calls. To make it work I have to phone it from my house phone and then it will connnect and let me make calls from my mobile. All the lights are working properly and the third light comes on when it makes a connection with the mobile phone. I am using iphone 5s. How do I get it working reliably

Perhaps try de registering and then wait 24 hours and re register and then reboot your phone by turning it Off and On.

@srdbrooks As advised by @BandOfBrothers please deregister your Vodafone Sure Signal and then re register it through your My Vodafone account for it to gain a stable connection.
Please note that the Vodafone Sure Signal's come standard with 24 months warranty.
