Switching to Vodafone Broadband

I've seen a number of posts on the forum about Vodafone broadband and possible issues with it - as a potential new broadband customer are there any specific things I should be looking out for before signing up? I'll just be using it for general domestic use, nothing too technical or requiring heavy business usage.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated. 🙂

• Be sure to request you keep any existing landline number if applicable. 
• Vodafone can look after switching providers unless your currently with Virgin Media. There is a form If on Virgin Media. 
• At present Vodafone will not divulge the required settings to be able to use ones own Router if important to do so. 
• Vodafones router now allows the splitting of frequencies to 2.4ghz and 5ghz which helps.
