Hi

It's a known remedy to manually choose / search for another network and then manually rechoose Vodafone.

Can I ask if both parties have checked their call / text blocking facilities.

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

It seems to be an intermittent problem,  so would blocking facilities still be where to look? If we are next to one another we text and it works! Are Vodafone basically saying select another network and then reselect Vodafone to reset connection?

Hi,

It's a known troubleshooting tip , Yes.

If it's intermittent then trying the sim in another phone could highlight the phone or sim at issue.

If its the SIM card then any Vodafone Highstreet Shop can sim swap for you to replace it.

I did try the sim in a different phone, the trusty old S3 and it appeared to work OK. The thing I can't get my head round though is why is this happening only to one number and why does it work OK when calling or texting while we are near each other?

I also tried a soft reset, which I believe is removing the battery and sim card, putting back in and switching back on again.

We'll see what happens. I hope it's not the phone!
