I see vodafone have now change the pay as you go broadband from £15 for 1gig to £15 for 3gig valid for 30days http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/deals/usb-...pup-and-go-blue which is good and well done vodaofone but as i am already a customer how do i get £15 for 3 gig do i just top up £15 and i will get 3gig or do i need to change my price plan ? Thanks,

which is good and well done vodaofone

It's not good at all, the fact that the topups didn't expire was the reason many people bought a vodafone dongle over any other.

What happens to those of us who bought a dongle under the old terms?

Will our next topup give us 3GB but expire after 30 days? Or do we continue under the terms we signed up to?

I don't need 3GB a month, the non expiring 1GB topup would last me 3 months or more.

Hi all

The new proposition will use a different gateway address to access the internet, than that currently in use for payg usb modems.

It will only be available with 1 specific usb modem...a modified K3565 USB stick. So all of you with existing PAYG usb modems will continue as before.

Anyone who wants the new 3Gb 30 day rate will need to buy the new usb stick.

Thank you rs1000 for supplying the URL to the new proposition.

I trust this answers all the queries. :)

Thanks for the info but there is a error on your site here http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/mobile-bro...nd/data-devices if you go to this page and look at the top of the page at the £35 white usb modem it says no 30day expirey then if you click on select and view plan it shows says 3 gig this need to be changed or it will mis lead people,

Is intended that the old £15 for 1GB no expiry be no longer available or will it run concurrently with the £15 for 3GB 30 day expiry product?

You need to tell your stores too. Yesterday I bought a K3565 specifically asking for the "no expiry" as I only need to use mobile broadband very occasionally when I'm unable to pick up wifi on my netbook. They sold me the new 3GB version that expires after 30days without realising. In fact when I took it back to the shop to get it swapped for the older one today they were most emphatic there was no expiry on it and were surprised when I demonstrated that there was to them.
They swapped it for the older one, although I'm having a number of issues with it that currently prevent me from checking conclusively that there is no expiry and also to be able to top up. (please see the other thread I opened on this for full details of my issues that hopefully somebody might be able to help with.)

Can Support confirm that if I have the older no expiry model that the tariff isn't going to suddenly change to one that does expire?

Hey guys,

We're currently investigating this, and am hesitant to say one way or another what's going to happen without more info. We'll have clarification for you all shortly!

Hi, my Vodafone USB dongle was given to me as an Xmas present, It came pre-loaded with a 1GB allowance. I have yet to do my first top-up, am I correct in assuming that there is no time limit on this 1GB, or will I have to top-up after 30 days? ...thanks

Good Morning nikev21

The 1GB of data thats come with the USB Dongle will expire 30 days after its 1st been connected (the 1st time you use it). So at this point you will need to top up again.

Dont forget to register for the My Account service so you can top up at anytime day or night.

Anything else please let me know :)
