VOLTE is now available on Samsung S8 from today subject to the mast you are connected to being enabled.
Lots of areas are now updated and more being done each week.
To get the update just download latest official Vodafone firmware, It is enabled by default so can't turn it off and you don't get any on screen symbols

Are you finding the quality of calls improved.

which region are you seeing ? I am not sure if i have volte as well because there is no sy,bol of that in notification area.
However, when i make calls it does not fall back to 3g.

On VOLTE I am finding call quality to be very good and most calls show to be HD calling as well which is good especially as appears to be cross network too.
i have so far used in Leicestershire, London and parts of Northamptonshire.
It has surprised me the amount amount of The network that has been updated so far. My only suggestion I would make is let's have a VOLTE on screen symbol like other operators do you get a. VOLTE sign

Unfortunatly now that I have had VOLTE on my handset for a few days I have started to notice some problems with the service is a variety of locations.
Unlike on EE if you start a call on WifiCalling it will not hand the call over to 4G calling I get an error message saying "IMS error 436 and the call drops.
Also I have found that when on 4G calling if you try and call some companies that have VOIP based PBX phone systems that calls will not setup and fail. It seems to be lines that are hosted by Gamma Telecoms and Magnetic North/West the call trys to setup but fails, if you put the handset into 3G mode it works fine.
This does not appear to be a handset issue as two colleagues in my office one with S8 and another with Sony XZ premium have the same problems so is the Vodafone 4G calling network.
Call quality is improved and have noticed that I am getting more HD calls now than before even cross network to EE.

VoLTE should be enabled if your Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 edge was first used with a carrier SIM that supports it. If your phone was unlocked and subsequently transferred to a carrier SIM that supports VoLTE, you may have to enable it manually. Acer Tech Support
