VSS - Power Light On - Internet Flashing

Hi,

 

I have had a new VSS send after my old one went in for replacement. But this one is not working also.

 

The Power light is on and the internet light is flashing.

 

Tracert, PING & speedtest details are as below

Hi @CraigQuinn42 ,

 

Thanks for the details you posted so far. While your speedtest and IP details look OK, your traceroute is timing out quite early on.

 

Who is your ISP, and what sort of router are you using? IS it a typical home broadband setup?

Finally, please let me know your Sure Signal serial number, so we can check our systems this end.

My ISP is Karoo (KC)

 

I am using a Netgear DGND3700v2 running Firmware Version V1.1.00.22_1.00.22

Checking this, the Vodafone Sure Signal isn’t compatible with your internet service provider, has this been a recent change?

We have a sure signal at work, they have internet provided by KC aswell but is lightstream (Firbre Optic) and they have no issues with the ISP.

 

How come i have issues?

We don't support their connection and therefore we can't guarantee it will work.

 

You may find under certain conditions that it connects, however as a general rule, a Sure Signal won't work when the ISP is KC.
