Now back to square 1...
Solid red - Slow pulsing - Off - Off.
Starting to lose patience with these things...

Hi SarahLG7,
The "flashing - solid - off - solid" pattern you described indicates poor network performance which the ISP needs to investigate, which would be why the Sure Signal didn't work in the second location.
When you moved it back, the pattern you saw was the Sure Signal initialising again. This, and the fact it changed after a while would be expected.
I checked on our system for anything obvious and to try a resync but both Sure Signals have been de-registered. As you might expect, whilst they're inactive we've got limited ability to view or try things. Can you wait at least an hour for things to refresh, then re-register and let us know if that helps?

Hi,
Sorry, was clutching at straws and de-registered and have now registered under my husbands Vodafone number.
Both units seemed to accept the registration as I saw them do something similar to what happens when I do a manual reset and he got a confirmation email.
So now both units are
- Solid red - Flashing White (Slow pulsing) - Off - Off
...which is what it was doing previously but on a continuous basis. I appreciate that this may be genuinely in config mode so will leave another 24 hours before posting again and then probably giving up.

I take it back. Since registering using another Vodafone number the units have completed the configuration and are now working. Hopefully permanently.
Thanks,

Hi Andrew
Did the reset tonight - and, at the moment, I'm connnected.
I'll keep you posted - thanks for the help.

Hi there.
I too have a VSS v3 with solid red power light and slowly pulsating internet light. Ethernet connection is fine (electrically and dat - checked with two cables).
I have de- and re-registered my VSS three times. I have configured my network router (TP-Link TP8717 and Apple TimeCapsule) four times in different configurations and still have had no luck connecting. It worked fine for two days last week but nothing since. Have performed factory default resets four times on unit also.
