Virtual IP address using Sonicwall VPN

science
Not applicable
We are using Sonicwall as a vpn client to connect to our network.
Sonicwall global VPN client connected to our netowrk fine, when using home broadbaund either with cat5 or wireless connection.
Home broadband connected via vpn, it can able to give out virtual ip address perfectly fine. But when we trying to use Vodafone Mobile Broadbaund k4505 usb stick for some reason it does not assign a virtual ip address, therefore it cannot connect to our network. Read the Technote provided by Sonicwall 'Virtual IP Issues' tried all the options suggested and that still doe not work.
Not sure what else I could try as I have run out of option, please give me your suggestion.

Kind regards
science

Hi Science,

Our network does not use a Public IP addressing system, which can often cause problems for certain VPN configurations. Luckily, provided you have the correct settings in place, this should be fixable.

You'll need to read through the VPN Overview, as well as the applicable VPN guide for the type of VPN that Sonicwall uses, so that you will know what needs to be in place both at the client and server end, in order for your VPN connection to be made possible over the Vodafone Network.

These guides can be found here :)

I trust that helps.
