How exacly does the button work on the left of the Vodafone Connect Router? Do i press it or hold it for so many seconds as the WIFI goes off when i hold it.

I can't find any instructions about the button, I know It connects using WPS, Does holding it just turn the WIFI off so you only use Ethernet? is just a single press able to connect using WPS? I would of thought there would of been instructions about it when joinnig.

Thanks

Hi @tezlewis1988

I performed a Google Search using the search words

vodafone connect router user manual

and there are quite a few PDF style documents for Vodafone routers.

It does appear from those that it does indicate as you mention what the button is for and also to indicate what the other indicators are for too.

If you get stuck then Vodafone do have a Broadband Tech Team available on...

08080 034 515

(free from all UK landlines and mobiles)
Lines are open between 8am and 11pm, seven days a week

or if local and convenient pop into your most local Vodafone store.

I will probably have to phone them up and ask for a proper manual, I have done the following search in to google it doesn't bring up the manual for this router. It shows me tons of different routers on vodafone NZ, Vodafone UK don't seem to offer a similar manual webpage like they do

Thanks

You're welcome.

Would you please update your thread with any information as this can then go onto help others needing similar information.

if you just press the wifi button, it should switch it off...to turn it back on again you hold it in for about 5 seconds :Smiling:

@tezlewis1988 Apologies for the delay in getting back to you. Were the Broadband team able to resolve this for you?
