Vodafone Smart 4 Mini wifi

Hello

I have bought my dad the Vodafone Smart 4 Mini phone off the Vodafone online shop. 

I have tried setting up the wifi and it will not connect to my home wifi but will connect to other wifi for example the hotspot on my iphone. At least 8 other devices connect at home to wifi with no issues but this one phone will not. It doesn't even get as far as obtaining IP address it just says Authentication Failed.

Can anyone help please

This is unusual.

Please could you preform a factory reset on the phone and try again. Remember to save any stuff that you don't want to lose.

I've tried all that, made the phone forget the connection and added it again etc. went into Vodafone shop on Sunday and they couldn't help either. I am going to contact sky as the broadband is with them and see if they can help.
