iPhone 5S unlock problems

I requested an unlock for my iPhone 5S two days ago and true to their word I received a response within 48 hours. The email said that my IMEI is not showing on Vodafone's database. I double checked just to confirm and it definitely is the correct IMEI and was bought from Vodafone.


Hoping someone can help with this.

Hi there

 

Was the iPhone bought directly from Vodafone or was it bought through a third party?  Has the phone ever been exchanged under warranty?

Directly from Vodafone and no it has never been exchanged under warranty.
