Since the update all my apps are slow as hell. I have factory reset to fresh install and only installed minimal apps.

For example - opening the SMS or phone app has to be pressed 2 or 3 times for it to open.

There is plenty or space available on phone, and plenty of free RAM. The phone was working perfectly fine- fast, speedy Nd instant response. Now my phone is goosed.

If you turn off Smart Network Switch, it should speed up your apps.  I haven't got the S5 but have heard of a few friends doing this to speed the phone up.

As well as Smart Network Switch being turned off, the phone now has minimal settings activated to have best performance.

This is the first comment we've had regarding the decrease in speed.

I'll advise you take your phone into your nearest store and they'll ensure you've installed the update correctly.
