why is there less avaliable RAM on the Vodafone S5 than the standard s5

First, I'm not talking about free ram... I'm talking about t the total RAM.

On Vodafone s5, it is 1.67Gb, on a standard s5,it is 1.81gb. There is a missing 140mb... where are they gone?

Btw,this is a PAYG galaxy s5

another question.. how can i completely get rid of all Vodafone software preinstalled on the device? Has any one tried installing an update straight from Samsung?

I don't think i should wait for software updates from Vodafone, especially that i already paid for the phone price in full

Doesn't really answer all my questions... Is the a way to get rid of all Vodafone software? Will I be able to do that if I install software from Samsung via lies?

Regarding RAM, I searched a bit and found out that Samsung did that for the LTE variant of S5, but I can't verify this from Samsung site

Hi @fileexit 

You wouldn't be able to remove the Vodafone software from your device, as it is Vodafone branded.
