Hi, I m desperately trying to set my connection to use the 5ghz frequency. In the Vodafone website there is written that I should find this oprtion in Advanced> Advanced Wi-fi, but when I connect to my broadband via browser there is no Advanced tab which I can select. What can I do?

Thanks!

I've taken a look.at your image.

Are you not able to toggle On the settings options etc  ?

Edit : is your Router on the newest version of firmware ?

This then maybe one for the dedicated Broadband Team on 08080 034 515 for Home Broadband support (free from all UK landlines and mobiles)

Ok @LuKa1987OR

Unfortunately as my router is a Home Hub 6 I cannot look into this further for you.

Are you able to give support a bell and ask them to guide you on this ?

I did it!

I connected the support and thei said that probably was caused by the fact that I was using a WiFi connection rather then the internet cable. Unfortunately I don't heve a device with an ethernet port so I restarted the router to the factory settings a couple of times en after I while it showed my the options properly! The I followed the guide that you posted and now the download speed has jumped from 45,9 to 67,6 mbps thanks to the 5Ghz frequency.

Thank you so much!!!!
