At what time was your broadband service activated?

My Plusnet ADSL service was deactivated at 6.00 am and my phone was move to Vodafone before 10.00 am, but the Vodafone notes say that I may have to wait until midnight before my VDSL broadband service is activated.

How long have others had to wait?

So still no phone back. Chatted this am and the infrasteucture issue was resolved by mid pm. Still no access. Tried to chat again and just went round in circles. Aaaaaaagh! Just had a further chat and they said i needed to do something before the internet started. Used this:    http://www.vodafone.co.uk/contentcontrolpage/vfb-force-choice-page.html.  Now the router has to  be turned off for 15mins....... perhaps this solves things. Fingers crossed! Hope youve sorted your broadband.

Unfortunately that really does appear to be the case.

I guess it depends on a number of factors. Openreach engineer phoned at 9.30 and BB service was up and running within 90 minutes.

Well I did this, and a little later I found that my Zyxel VMG8924-B10A would respond to pings, so I can connect to my site remotely. The router was not restarted. Your post has been very helpful to me.

Glad it was helpful. 😊
