Paying above maximum price for the same service! Will ofcom be able to help with this unfair treatment?

pawel: have one more question
Satish: Yes, please.
pawel: as my monthly price was rised how is it possible that im paying more tahn your current price on your website?? Mine rised fron 28 to 32 on august and current price online is 30...
Satish: Pawel, I can understand your point, but this increase is for all the existing customer, and we gave you 30 days to cancel the contract if you're not happy with this price increase.
pawel: ok so why im paying more than your maximum price for current service?
pawel: just month after increase..
pawel: i will contact ofcom and check with them...
pawel: you increased prices of customers within contract but left online price lower
Satish: Pawel, if you're not happy with the price increase, please get in touch our support team on 08080 034 515 free from Vodafone mobile or landline.
pawel: how fair is it?
Satish: They'll help you with the best option for you.
Satish: Being a consumer myself, I can understand your concern Pawel, but please understand the price increase is to provide you the best customer service experience.
Satish: We're investing more and more to provide you the best home broadband Internet service.
pawel: i would understand it if it has gone up to the same price online for averyone but instead you punished your existing customers only... great customer service...
Satish:
Your feedback is important to us and this will be passed to the concerned department.

Satish:
We may come up with the best option for our existing customers as well.

pawel: When next year?
pawel: anyway, have a nice day and bye for now.

I'm paying £30 for up to 76mb - is that likely to increase soon?

@Pczyzykiewicz More information regarding this price increase can be found in the Ts&Cs of your broadband service.

The information can be found on page two under 'Changes to your terms, services or charges.'

@craigr98 There's no set date that this may happen, so we'd be unable to advise you further unfortunately.

I asked the same question and was told that  the customers paying £32 a month get extra services????

please tell me vodafone what exactly i get extra, she mentioned speeds or something. im interested to know just how you offer these speeds and monitor exactly who to give them too? or is this just more company ##~##.

Im paying £32 a month for a service i cant even use, my  broadband wifi router is spewing more ##~## than your staff members. utter garbage.

Im not too ashamed to drape my house in a 32 foot flag embezzled with vodafone is ##~## on it.

Hi. Thanks for posting t&cs link. I did read it and i fully understand it... " If you take no action within 30 days of us telling you about the changes you’ll be considered to have accepted those changes"

The only thing i do not understand is why did you increase it only to some customers? I agree that i did accept it at the same time believing that it means increase in the whole vodafone broadband network. It seems like i was one of those "luckly choosen" to pay for imroving and expanding your services :

"

At Vodafone, we’re always looking for ways to improve and expand our services. In order to do this, we sometimes need to make changes to our prices – and this includes your Vodafone Home Broadband account.
What's changing?
As of 10 August 2017 your monthly broadband price will change to £32."

Thanks for great service.

Customer

How long have you had your BB service for?

Since November 2016 sadly...

So not quite 1 year.   I would speak to their cancelations dept and see what you can negotiate.   Ring them and when the machine asks what you want say 'cancel broadband'.

Thanks for advice mate:) I will do as soon as i get some spare time:) Last time i called them it took 3 hours of my Saturday...  To be honest it's one of the worst customer service expiriences that i received so far, a bit like chat chat:) Get in a contract and after we dont give a .....

I believe their Broadband Customer Services is open 8am to 11pm - 7 days.
