Can a router be posted through a letter box?

When Vodafone send you a router  for a new service, would the delivery person just put it through a normal size letter box?  (or does some have to be present to receive it?)

Someone will need to be in to sign for it otherwise, it’ll go back to your local courier depot, or Royal Mail depot and the driver will leave a card with details of how to collect it or rearrange delivery.

It would not fit through a letter box.   But taking a hammer to it would certainly help it fit through and to be honest it would not be much a of a loss.

TBH It would be better if you never received it - It doesn't work.

Look elsewhere for yor ISP needs.
