KRACK - WPA2 vulnerability

oscarolim
4: Newbie

A vulnerability on the WPA2 protocol was found, that would allow an attacker to access the data sent wirelessly through our home devices.

Some high grade routers have starting patching the vulnerability, however, from Vodafone, when can we expect the home broadband router to be updated?

@oscarolim Please see the below statement with regards to this:

Vodafone is aware of a vulnerability affecting the Wi-Fi Protected Access II (WPA2) protocol. This is an industry issue and we are in close contact with our partners and suppliers who are working to minimise the risk to users. We have no indication that our customers have been affected by this vulnerability.

"when can we expect the home broadband router to be updated?" was the question???
