Replacement Broadband Router

Not a good migratiion from Sky to Vodafone !!

First, without home phone from day of migration for 9 days - OpenReach "admin" problem...

Now, following 2nd in-home visit from OpenReach last Friday, my Vodafone router appears to be faulty as it doesn't transmit 2.4 GHz, and (after line testing from OpenReach) halves my upload speed when connected in-line from 3Mb to 1.2 Mb.  It was apparent to the OpenReach engineer that the router was DOA.

 

  1. Now, waiting for replacement router to be delivered since this problem was discovered last Friday
  2. Told that Vodafone technical would respond "within 48 hours"
  3. Despite numerous phone call to Vodafone no router has arrived, nor any email from courier company DPD to let me know a replacement is on the way
  4. Result = No satifactory WiFi broadband since first installation on March 20th, and unhappy new Vodafone customer...

Suggestions as to how I should proceed next???

Buy a decent router.
