Vodafone Offers 76Mbps and Others Do Not?

Hello,

I am looking to move into a new property and I checked a number of broadband packages from different ISPs, but Vodafone and another one are the only 2 which say that 76Mbps fibre optic is available. Others say they can only provide the normal slow broadband, because the box reached its limit.

How does this work? Is it a mistake from Vodafone, as in they promise something they cannot deliver? I am afraid of moving and then be 'welcomed' with slow broaband.

Thank you.

Hello @greentrancer

With Vodafone Uk you have a 30 day Network Satisfaction Guarantee to be able to cancel if things do not work out.

Personally I used this to help me > Ofcom-checker

Ask neighbours what they use and what speeds they achieve.

Sounds like the fibre cabinet is full... Either Vodafone have reserved capacity or they will be unable to deliver after you've ordered.
@greentrancer are you already on a Fibre connection at that address?

I'm on 80/20 in fact my sync speed is

Actual data rate 79987 (Kbps.) 19999 (Kbps.)

but here's a speedtest for you...

I'd be wary who you pick, as I fully regret leaving Sky.

I'm sure I heard that if Vodafone cannot supply the minimum speed they have promised/guaranteed then you can leave without penalty, regardless of any cooling off time. If they don't sort the cabinet capacity issue soon, then I'll be cancelling. Never had issues with BT.
