What is AL1 in connection with broadband activation?

I was given the date of my Vodafone activation which read " 28th May at AL1"  I cant workout what AL1 means. It looks from its position after the date that it should be a time but it cant be?

I'm not to sure @JohnG100 it's not the start of the postcode you're in at all is it?

Hi, I have my broadband being delivered/connected tomorrow at AL1 which makes no sense to me. Others, including my mother have had similar messages. Is AL1 a Vodafone code, a time or have they sent the wrong postcode?

Suggests it is either the default, or a very busy store.

Thanks, that looks as though it could be the best explanation yet but why say "at AL1" as it is Vodafone's postcode not mine?

It looks like AL1 in the text might be the template time for installation, when an actual time hasn't been provided 🤔

The messages that you're mother has had with AL1, were these about broadband too?  As @TJ suggested, we normally provide the time if applicable, after the date 🙂
