Broadband Early Activation

Would it be possible for my broadband to be activated early?

I was originally told by Vodafone that as soon as I ordered a new broadband contract with them, it would be activated within around 3 days. Because of that, I waited for my old broadband contract to get closer to the deactivation day. Now, my old contract was terminated and my new Vodafone broadband will only be activated on the 18/02.

I already received the equipment and its all attached, but seems like the phone line is not activated.

Hey @sparecable 

The standard waiting time for Broadband installation is around 14 days.

We wouldn't be able to bring your activation date forward, sorry for any inconvenience caused!

You should always allow your new supplier to deal with the cancellation of the old contract.(except if going from cable, ie Virgin to DSL)

Otherwise you get in the situation you are.

Edit: I signed up 22nd May, went live 16th June.

It's unusual for an ISP to disconnect you unless you actually cancelled.
