Thinking of getting the fibre 900 installed. just worried about the physical installation. WE have a slabbed patch and front garden. How do they run it up to the house ? Do they lift an replace the slabs ?

Hiya,

As standard, OpenReach will use the comms conduits/poles that are already there and there should be no major work that needs doing (other than a little drilling), but should leave the property as they found it (with the addition of the OpenReach socket and equipment) if they need to do additional work - However, depending on the construction of your path and garden (and many other factors), it may not be possible.

The engineer that's sent out will discuss the work that needs doing before they begin and let you know whether they think they'll be able to leave it as they found it or not and discuss any alternatives.
