Hi Everyone, I am currently on the 910Mb package and have the Ultra Hub with 3 WiFi boosters, and I am coming across issues every 2 or 3 months with my connection. I have a Sonos system and multiple smart home appliances so here's my question.
Is there a high end router that I can replace the Ultra Hub and WiFi boosters with? I don't want to have the Ultra Hub and a seperate router. Just plug straight into the new router from the City Fibre box.
Thanks in advance... I am pulling my hair out!

Top of the range? I'm running an Asus RT-BE88U these days. I figured why pay for 6ghz channels when we can't use them here.
Look at wifi7 but not necessarily 6GHz.
Noone knows when /if 6GHz may arrive. It probably will but in a very limited way.
Two points though.
1. Moving to wifi7 can cause problems with old "legacy" devices, particularly IoT stuff. You may need to work a little harder and ask advice to get things working.
2. You'll lose easy access to Vodafone's digital voice service. There's ways around this, but is a Landline important to you(?).

Depending on the size and construction of your house, even replacing with a high end router may not fix your issues if you *need* three WiFi boosters currently.
Placement of the transmitter is key to distributing the WiFi signal as widely as possible, this is typically in a central location, such as the ceiling in the middle of the house. For larger houses, especially those with thick solid walls, it may mean one or more around the property.
Ubiquiti supply a very wide range of “Professional” grade WiFi equipment that many people also install in their homes to get the best possible WiFi. It’s not cheap but with the right AP locations, will give you excellent, rock solid WiFi in any sized property (residential or commercial).
