According to https://www.blocked.org.uk/ the site mytravelscrapbook.com is not being blocked. I ran tracert which reaches the destination.  The pathping looks correct, if you compare with mine (I am not on VF) which never reaches the site and despite that I can open the site.

No problem with either accessing site.  It's possible that on this occasion the dynamic content for the site itself could be the culprit!

Also your homepage has "http://" in the source which, if it does not automatically up-scale to "https://" is now a breaking issue for most browsers.

Hi

I never got there.

Host 134.105.130.63.in-addr.arpa. not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)

Server: 173.230.147.5
Address: 173.230.147.5#53
** server can't find 134.105.130.63.in-addr.arpa: NXDOMAIN

Late edit

mytravelscrapbook.com

Took 3 seconds in Firefox.

Obviously it goes via

connect-facebook, google-analytics and s.skimresources.com

Maybe that is why brave struggled, or the wrong IP address.

OK It seems that BitDefender verified the HTTP and allowed a connection, what I don't like is this...

80 Kb of local Storage80 Kb of local Storage

Brave is blocking these

https://mytravelscrapbook.com/wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-dashboard-for-wp/front/js/tracking-analytics-events.js?ver=5.3.10
https://s.skimresources.com/js/161520X1628503.skimlinks.js
https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=UA-46104876-3
https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v3.3
https://www.google-analytics.com/analytics.js
https://load.sumo.com/

PiHole is blocking

www.googletagmanager.com

and there are a load of javascripts being pulled in, but from your domain and not a secure CDN, so if the page is hacked you cannot tell. Also there are no checksums for the javascripts.

I'm also using brave on everything other than my phone (the Android phone version is horrible), and Brave is not blocking mytravelscrapbook.com .  But my target IP is different to that of the original post when using either Vodafone's DNS or the PiHole/unbound combo!

That is odd, the O.P. has deleted all their posts in this thread.

Maybe because he has linked linkedin profiles to his name, his blog page etc etc.

Far too much traceability.

So I will delete his name.

HAVE (but the cat is out of the bag).
