Broadband daisy chained

I have daisy chained two vodafone routers (so the second one is a wifi hub) but the second one keeps asking for 'mobile stick activation' and also keeps clicking. I guess it is looking for internet connection. Any suggestions how to resolve thanks?

Have you configured your second router as an access point (i.e. set it to AP mode) ?

Yes i believe i have manually but is there an AP mode switch/setting?

There is no means to set a VF router into Access Point (AP) mode.  So your "daisy chained" router will be looking to make and internet connection either through it's WAN or DSL ports, and failing that through the use of a mobile data dongle!
