GigaFast Glasgow estimated arrival?

Having seen CityFIbre install fibre on my street a few months ago now I am looking to get, even a rough, estimate of when to expect GigaFast broadband.

Gigafast/ Vodafone support basically say they don't know.

CityFibre say they can't comment on specific areas and that I should call Vodafone..

Does anyone know when the service will go live in Glagsow? Anywhere in Glasgow.

At end of contract right now and can get GFast broadband but holding off to see if Gigafast is coming. Even something like 6-12 months would be more helpful than waiting endlessly.

Doubt you'll get an official answer, but phase 1 of Gigafast is due to complete in 2021, and Glasgow aren't in it, only Stirling and Aberdeen in Scotland, so suspect you might be waiting a while yet.

Ah I see, thats alright even if it is a while. 

More a worry that I begin a new contract and Gigafast becomes available a couple months later.
